My husband is a medical resident, he was required to have a driver license because he has to drive to the different hospitals. Can we claim for his car and the expenses?

You can claim car expenses for your husband if his employer has given or is giving him a T2200 Conditions of Employment.  This form outlines what the employer expects and only those items can be claimed as Employment Expenses on his income tax.
