My wife has an ammount for charitable donations carried forward from previous years. How can i move those donations to my return instead?

need details of how to do this please.

When doing your return as a coupled/joint return you can choose who claims the charitable donations.

The carry-forward amounts will stay under the persons name whom they belong- Once you use those donations then you can choose who will claim them.
