The best way to find specific information about Summary figures is to view your details in the Review section of your return. From the Bottom Line Summary page, choose the option for "details". You'll be able to see the line numbers where your entries have been recorded.
For union dues, amounts can be entered on the union dues screen or can be transferred from your T4 entry. If you paid union dues, they could be listed on your T4 in box 44. Once you've entered the box 44 amount, the figure is transferred to line 212 of your return.
