You are not able to claim a charitable donation without an official donation receipt.  Hope that helps! 

@pirateinuk You may want to ask for a receipt if possible at church. If not possible for 2022, please make sure to use the supplied envelopes and enter your information so that your church can track your donations through the year and supply you with a yearly receipt.
