I purchased glasses from lens crafters for eye correction in December 2013. Can I deduct this as medical if I just have the customer receipt even though these are prescription glasses?

You can claim any amount of prescription eyeglasses for the cost which is not covered by either a public or private healthcare plan, ie the amount by which you are personally out of pocket for the cost.
