Can I edit my return? I do not want to claim basic residency for Northern Residents Deduction.

Yes, you can edit your income tax return, as long as you haven't filed your return as of yet. 

To edit your Northern Resident Deduction- you will open your return and on the top right click on "Find" type in Northern Residents Deduction and click on GO- This will bring you to the page where you had claimed it. You can choose to delete or edit the information and once completed click on continue.
