How do I claim orthotics under medical expenses, as a prescription or other?

You can claim Orthotics under prescription since this medical expense requires a prescription to be accepted as a medical expense, as seen on the Canada Revenue Agency site.

You can claim it under Medical Expenses Profile in the TurboTax online version by following these steps below:

1. First you can log in to your TurboTax account online version 

2. Click on the Find icon on the top right, type Medical Expense Profile, Click and Go

3.  You will see the checkbox for Medical Receipts incurred in 2020, then Click and Continue (Image 1).

4. You will be sent to a page where you can "Add your Medical Receipt" and "Enter Medical Total Expense Amount" (Image 2) before pressing Done With Medical Expense.
