Sale of your Principal Residence - form being updated

I sold my principal residence in 2024, but the form on TurboTax has been "under construction" ever since I started working on my taxes. Originally a date of March 6 was provided on the page, but now it just says check back later.

When will this form be ready? If I'm ready to file would I be better off using a different software to submit this year's taxes?

Schedule 3 is still locked by CRA and not finalized by CRA yet. Please refer to this link Why does TurboTax say my forms are locked or haven't been finalized? 

We do not have any ETA on this yet but as soon a these forms gets finalize we will be updating them in TurboTax for an accurate calculations.

I don't see the form locked on the CRA website.  It was updated Feb 10.  Can someone at Turbotax follow-up with this please.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure I'm just going to use a different software so I can file.

@absbrooks Schedule 3 will be updated, and all the locked forms will be unlocked and ready by the 20th of March, 2025. We appreciate your patience.

the error re selling your principal residence, is still not fixed as of march 25 !   - do you have an update please  i would assume this is affecting a few thousand customers

@03phuonh We were attempting to resolve this error in collaboration with CRA. We hope to have this resolved by or on April 14th, and our development team is working on it. For our customers' awareness, we have placed a banner in the TurboTax filing section. Thank you for your patience.

Please verify that you have the latest version of the software.

 

1. Click on the HELP menu and click on About TurboTax

 

The latest version is 00.01.73 Build 7007

 

If you do not have the latest version, click on the HELP menu again and click on Check for updates. If that doesn't work we recommended uninstalling and reinstalling the software. You can download the latest version here : TurboTax download
