I am wondering about the BC child fitness and art amounts that I can claim for 2017. I was under the impression that this credit was eliminated.

The federal Children's Fitness Credit was eliminated for tax year 2017 but BC elected to keep their provincial credit around.

You can claim up to $500 in expenses for children under 16 in the section: Deductions > Claims for Dependants.
