Thinking of switching software from turbotax this year. Last few years have been software issues galore. Charitable and medical optimizers are wrong.

As well, pension income boxes are incorrect. My dad refilled his manually and received a major refund. Turbotax was not taking a large deduction into account with no way of adding it manually.
These issues have been present for years with no fixes! Reaching customer support is a puzzle nightmare. What is being done to fix these things? Why should I remain a customer?

We're sorry to hear that you've had some trouble with TurboTax. While we work hard to make TurboTax the best it can be, it isn't right for everyone. We encourage you to shop around and compare.
