Time to Charity.

So my small business is setting up a dinner for Canadian Red Cross.  We want to charge them half the cost and donate the other other half as a donation to charity.  Is this a claimable thing for taxes.  If it is how should we show it on the invoice

If you are asking how to claim the charity part on your income tax return- you will need to have the "Red Cross" give you a donation receipt so that you can claim that specific amount given to them.
