Trying to claim the age amount deduction. It won’t let me?

When you enter your date of birth, TurboTax will calculate the age amount deduction if you were 65 or older in 2021.

You are qualified for the age amount deduction if you meet the following criteria:

• You are 65 years of age or older at the end of the tax year (i.e. December 31).
• Your net income is less than $87,750 as of the tax year 2021.
• You are a Canadian resident.
