Unused Canadian medical expenses for 2016

I've entered my Canadian medical expenses for 2016 but no credit because of low income. In 2017 I'll have higher income. Does TurboTax remember the amounts or do I have to re-enter for 2017 return? Also do I have to delete all the medical amounts I entered or does TurboTax automatically not submit to CRA  if income too low? I realize I can only use those expenses that fit within a 12 month fiscal type year.

It would be best to remove your medical expenses and save them for re-entry in your 2017 return.

Thanks. I'll delete re-enter next year ones that fit in with the 12 month time frame.
