Where is the basic personal exemption for child

Is there no longer a basic personal deduction for a child.  I can't see that line anywhere.  I put his name, etc into Turbo Tax, expecting to see a basic deduction in the forms somewhere but the only personal deductions I see are for myself and the appropriate part of my wife's.  I thought it should show on line 305 but that seems to be for other child related deductions.  If this is the case, can I get around this by filing a tax return for him and then claiming the unused amount (he is 5 so is not employed)

There are no longer any Dependant Claims available for your children. Only if you are a Single parent raising a child can you make the claim on Line 305 for the Eligible Dependant Amount (Formerly Equivalent to Spouse)
