Why are my non refundable tax credits not being used to remove my owed provincial tax?

Depending on which province you reside in, the Federal Non Refundable Tax Credits (NRTCs) may not apply or may have a different rate than the Provincial ones. This means the same credits used to reduce your Federal tax payable, may not be available or less in your province.
