Why doesn't the program transfer medical receipts to the medical expense worksheet and put the result on line 330?

Medical expenses are entered on the medical receipts form. They will not transfer to the Medical Expense Worksheet. (They are above the 3% minimum.) What's happening?

The above posts are old posts that may date back a year or more. We made changes to this forum a few months ago, which resulted in all old posts having their dates changed to October 2019.

Regarding Medical expenses – please make sure that the date that you have put in for your claim period is correct. If you have receipts from outside that claim period, they will not show in the list at the top of the Medical Expense Worksheet. Also, if you have a spouse/partner, they may be claimed on their return. You can switch who is claiming the expenses by clicking on the box under their name at the top of the worksheet.

If you are still not able to resolve the issue, our phone support team can actually look at your return with you to find out what is going on. This form will help you get the right number to call: https://support.turbotax.intuit.ca/contact/
