Will Standard optimize pensions, medical expenses and donations with my spouse, and handle capital gains/losses covered by a Form T5008?

Absolutely! Standard includes all of those features and more.

Tip: The pension splitting optimizer should be used once all of your data has been entered into your return. If you add a medical receipt, decide to carry forward your donations, or make any changes after you've used the optimizer, be sure to run the optimizer again to ensure you're getting the best split.
