Will there be an update? I am not being prompted for the Nova Scotia Children's fitness and tax credit. Does anyone know why?

In Easy Step mode the Nova Scotia Children's Sports and Arts Credit is under Claim Dependant Credits. If you are using Forms mode in TurboTax CD/Download it’s on the bottom half of the Dependant pop-up screen.

If only it were that easy. Under federal claims for dependents it says "if your province has the fitness and arts credit you will be prompted later" under the provincial credits it is not showing the fitness and arts credit option!

As I said before, the credit is not on the Provincial page.

When you are on the Claims for Dependants page in TurboTax Online, answer YES to the question. Then click the "Continue" button.

On the next page, click "Enter Credit Info" next to the dependant who you want to claim the credit for.

Then select "Children's sports and arts tax (provincial credit only)" and click the "Continue" button until you get to the "Did your child participate in sports, cultural, artistic or recreational activity?" page. There you can enter in your Sports and Arts amounts.
