Child support payments (whether received or paid), can be entered into TurboTax in various ways. Before entering your information into your return, you should first understand what a child support payment is, and how it applies to you. These payments are typically made to support a child, as stated in a court order or written agreement. The support payments are not only made to support the recipient, and a specific set of 5 conditions must be met in order for a payment to qualify.
