British Citizen

I am a British Citzen. I had a 2 year visa and left Canada 30th of September 2019. I worked for the duration of time I was in Canada (Ontario) and more specifically, from January-September 2019. Am I a resident for tax purposes? Can I only do a paper return now that I am living in the UK again?
