First time filing as common law and need help

Hi!

I'm filing as common-law for the first time. But I am filing separate from my partner.

I'm stuck on the question "Net income from William's 2019 federal tax return (Line 23600)".

The issue is that he hasn't yet filed his tax return, and is also filing separately, so I don't have access to his return.

How do I fill this part out?

Thanks

If you don't know your spouse's net income, you should try to estimate as closely as possible. Please see this TurboTax FAQ for more information: What do I do if I don’t know my spouse’s income?

So is it just asking what their total income for last year was?
