How do I indicate a person is deceased

I am filing a final tax return for my mother. I filed her taxes using TurboTax Online for the past few years. How do I indicate that she passed away?

It seems that you have missed the most natural use case of doing taxes for your parents and they eventually pass away. There seems to be no way to start a return based on last year's information and then indicate that the person has passed away.

Is it there and I am just blind because I can't see it?

Well, it doesn't really matter anymore. TurboTax can't handle the most basic of cases for a deceased person. A deceased person can not own a principle residence at the time of their death. I would expect that a large portion of people filing final returns would be in that situation.

And to think that I was debating between getting the online version or the desktop version. I am kicking myself now for trusting in the online version. Never again.
