    I purchased the turbotax standard online edition at the target store. there is an activation card but i don't find the program to activate

    It is not a software activation code. It is a prepaid billing code.
    Access Turbotax, set up an on-line account. Do your taxes.
    When ready to pay for your return, use the payment code.
