It is forcing me to enter my ex common-laws details and income but I am now single. so then I get an error and I cannot file online with the cra. what do I do

Past year information may have transferred into your return. Have you changed your marital status to separated at the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA)? Changing your status on your return will disallow you to Netfile. You need to call them at     1-800-959-8281 to change it before you Netfile.
