What version of TurboTax did you use?

If you used TurboTax Online, this FAQ may help you find your returns: https://turbotax.community.intuit.ca/community/importing-transfering/help/why-can-t-i-find-my-turbot...

If you used TurboTax CD/Download, your tax files are only stored on your computer. We don’t keep any copies. Check your “Documents” folder for a “TurboTax” folder, as that is where the software stores its files by default. You can also use Windows search to look for “.tt18” & “.tt19”, as these are the file extension TurboTax used for 2018 & 2019 returns.

All that happens is it takes me to a page where I'm supposed to buy the software!?  wtf?????

If you are using TurboTax Online, then unfortunately, the 2018 and 2019 services are no longer available. If you would like a copy of your 2019 tax return, please login to TurboTax Online.  On the "Great to see you again!" page, scroll down to the bottom and click "Open" to the right of "Access your filed tax returns". You will then see a list of all your previously filed tax returns. Click on the year you want to see links to PDF files or the return, which you can download and print.

If you need to make changes to your filed 2018 & 2019 returns, you can use the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA)’s My Account service to make the changes. Or you can print and mail a T1-ADJ T1 Adjustment Request form.
