My R-1 one has an RD Box but I'm told to "Enter boxes RD, RM, RP and RR in the appropriate self-employment statement

My R-1 one has an RD Box and I'm told to "Enter boxes RD, RM, RP and RR in the appropriate self-employment statement.

However, if you enter the amount in the self employment assessment section, the federal return double counts the amount because it is already pulling the amount from  your T4A.

If you don't enter the amount in the self employment assessment section, the federal return is correct (it pulls the T4-A) but the provincial return does not show the income.

If the amount is already entered in Box 048 of T4A, you do not have to enter it again for Quebec as the software will automatically consider it as a self-employment income (rl1-Box RD) in the provincial tax return as well.
