Non-resident Ontario Provincial Tax

I am a non-resident of Canada. What form do I use to report employment income in Ontario and calculate the tax? The Multi Jurisdictional form T2203 only applies if the non-resident has income in more than one Province, as I read the instructions:

" Use this form (T2203) to calculate your provincial .... taxes for 2019 if ...... You were a non-resident of Canada throughout 2019 ...... receiving income from .... employment that can reasonably be attributed to duties performed in more than one province or territory in Canada"

TT Online doesn't support the T2203 in any case.

If you don't have ITN yet use this form to obtain one:

https://www.canada.ca/content/dam/cra-arc/formspubs/pbg/t1261/t1261-19e.pdf

With this number, you will be able to file your tax return using the T1159 Income Tax Return for Electing Under Section 216:

https://www.canada.ca/en/revenue-agency/services/forms-publications/forms/t1159.html

This form is available in TurboTax > after you enter your information and your ITN instead of your SIN number > choose selection 216 in the next page:

I hope this was helpful
