I have never used Netfile before (always paper returns) and I do not find a NAC in my Notice of Assessment nor in my CRA online account. Besides the Tax Return I need to submit a T1135, hopefully electronically, as well.
I am going to use the downloaded Premier software.
Do I need a NAC as a first time Netfile user? How/where can I get it? Any other suggestions towards my first use of online submission?
Thank you!
Netfile Access Codes are optional. If you don't have one, you can still Netfile and then on your next Notice of Assessment there should be an NAC.
Thanks Ronin.
I actually found my NAC (for some reason it only appeares in the Notice of Assessment, but not in the Notice of Re-assessment). I am already using the Premier (downloaded version).
how do I netfile without the code
@Maloneyalwyn If you are using TurboTax Online, when you get to the NETFILE section, it will ask you for your NETFILE Access Code. You can change or delete it there.
