@Barbie44 Please double check that you don't have any anti-virus or security software blocking TurboTax.  If you are still not able to resolve this issue, please contact our phone support team at 1-888-829-8608.

Hi there,

I am trying to netfile my Canadian tax return and I am getting an scripting error when I start the process. The initial error is the one below but I get more than one error like this with different URLs.

Line: 968

Char: 36

Error: '_satellite' is undefined

Code: 0

URL: https://intuitglobal.intuit.com/downloads/CanadaTax/cra_netfile_termsandconditions/en/ws-tc-eng.html

I read the support site and followed the recommendation of turning off the antivirus but I am still getting the error. Any suggestion how to fix this? Is this a bug or something at my end? I am using the downloaded version of Turbo tax.

Thanks in advance,

Cristian

I had the same problem. Using canadian download version.  It just shows terms and conditions so you can read. You can still press the button "Agree and Submit"

Hope this helps.

@cristian_disanzo Please try clicking Yes a few times until the Netfile Terms page loads.

Ok, I clicked on the OK button on all the error messages and the page downloaded. I was able then to submit the tax return. I got a confirmation number and a CRA response Code 80 so it seems it's Ok.

Is this a bug or it happens just to a few users? I am Ok now but just hoping no more users are getting the same error.

I think this is a bug and mentioned to customer support when I called. I hope they fix it as I am pretty sure going to happen to more users.
