So I have a confirmation number saying my returns were netfiled but i only got one email (for Michael) but on your website it says that only mine was netfiled

As long as you received NETFILE confirmation codes for both returns, you can rest assured that both income tax returns were successfully transmitted to the Canada Revenue Agency.  Please see the following FAQ for instructions on how to NETFILE.
