I'm student 21 years old a permanent resident in Montreal. I've been filing my taxes online for the past 3 years. This time I was checking my CRA online account and found that my account is showing in the TAX return section 11 previous years from 2010 to 2021 and that my tax returns are not yet received from 2010 to 2018
Do I need to file all these previous years considering that I didn't have any income?
No,
if you have no income to report as a student,
you may be able to skip filing your tax return and the related paperwork. But there might be some benefits of filing a tax return.
