Tax residency and obligation

I'm looking for some advice. i am a european citizen and I lived as a temporary worker in Canada for 3 and a half years. I left in 2019 to go backpacking, and filed a return, my notice of assessment has a note on it. "Emigrant".
For a variety of reasons in all of 2020 I didn't settle in any country, and spent a lot less than 183 days in any. So i haven't taken up tax residency anywhere new.
I earned a small amount of income during the year, from a non canadian source. Do i have a tax obligation in Canada, because i haven't taken up residency anywhere else and i am not Canadian?
I have received mixed advice on this so far.

And if i do, can I use turbotax to file? What residency would i choose?

Any help is appreciated.

CAIf you are unsure of your residency status, you will need to contact the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) and confirm it with them. If you are in Canada or the United States, you can call the CRA at 1-800-959-8281. If you are elsewhere you can call 613-940-8495. This page has more ways to contact the CRA: https://www.canada.ca/en/revenue-agency/corporate/contact-information/telephone-numbers.html
