I have been living in Saskatchewan for several years and I just noticed my employer is showing my TD1 as living in Manitoba. The provincial credit is less in Manitoba than Saskatchewan on the TD!. Does Turbotax adjust for this when I put my Province of residence as Saskatchewan? Should I file a new TD1 or leave it? I don't mind if I pay more tax throughout the year if it gets corrected during filing. Thanks in advance.
Yes, you should submit a new TD1 if the one you currently have is for the wrong province.
If you paid too much or too little tax on your paycheques, then TurboTax will automatically calculate the amounts and adjust your return/taxes owing.
