TurboTax requires CPT30 to stop CPP contributions for self-employed

I have only self-employed income so a CPT30 should not be used, only the month indicated on Schedule 8, to stop CPP contributions because I turned 65 in 2021.  However, TurboTax flags that as an error unless I indicate that I have filed a CPT30.  I have not opted to start CPP income yet and TurboTax shows that as an error as well saying I cannot stop CPP contributions unless I have started CPP income which is not true.  Any suggestions or help?

I am wondering whether you were able to resolve the Turdo tax bugs by not being able to stop CPP contribution (No CPT30 form). If, not, did you need to submit the paper copy to CRA?  Thanks

As seen in our TurboTax article: The Canada Pension Plan you will need to mail it to the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) to stop contributing. You may need this CRA link: Locations, mailing addresses, and drop box status of CRA offices

Thank you for choosing TurboTax.
