In order to file I need to enter my spouses net income. But he hasn’t filed yet. How do I continue my tax submission?

In order to file I need to enter my spouses net income. But he hasn’t filed yet. How do I continue my tax submission?

Use an estimated amount on the high side. Base on last year.

When he files, the exact amount will be available to CRA.

Your goal is to avoid claiming spousal credit, for which his reportedNet Income needs to be above $11809 for 2018.


Don’t enter zero unless you know and will certify that’s its zero.
