Warning

Hello, I am trying to file our returns.  It is being blocked with a message about self-employment province is not the same province as residence.  We live on Ontario, my husband works in Quebec and has received T4 and Releve 1.  I receive a CPP from Quebec.  I have no idea how to fix this message as it asks information of business address etc, however like I said we are not self employed in Quebec.  Would I just file in the information on the T4's even though not self employeed??

Thanks for any insight.

If there is an amount on the T4 information slip box 81, 82 or 83, you have what the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) considers this to be self-employment or business income and you will have to fill out the self-employment form.

Do you have a T4A information slip with an amount in box 28? Is so please click NO in the drop down arrow below it where you see Select.
