Why doesn't Turbo advise where best to put interest, dividends when doing a coupled return?
Answer sounds reasonable but why not show somewhere so we know it is right and has been done?

In coupled returns, when an opportunity exists to maximize your refund or lower your taxes owing by transferring an amount to a partner's return, TurboTax does it automatically regardless of which partner reported the amount.
