Will first time user of turbo tax be able to efile ?

TurboTax uses NETFILE, not EFILE. EFILE is form professional tax preparers like accountants, while NETFILE is for regular people.

Most people filing for the first time will not be able to NETFILE, as the CRA will not have their proper information on file.

If you are a non-resident, the CRA has started to accept those returns by fax.
