La there a direct customer service email, chat or phone number that’s NOT going to waste people’s time with making them wait on hold? There is no reason why 1. They should be charging a fee to take out the Turbo Tax fees and 2, why,  if they insist on charging one, it’s not the same for everyone . It should not go by what the tax return that the customer is getting back is.  

As far as turbo tax is concerned, why can’t someone switch the type of account they have? Why can’t I downgrade the type of account as to not have to pay out so much for fees? Maybe my circumstances changed and I don’t need delux any longer.  Do better to meet your customers where they need you. All of these fees and money taken from their returns is not going to keep customers
