Help. in cases where I specifcy % claimed on spouces return will Turbo tax popiulate the % allocated or do I have to key that in as well. i.e. 50% do I key my portion?
Include the total amount on the T-slip, indicate the percentage claimed by spouse and Turbo tax will prorate the figure between both tax returns. Then verify the outcome on your tax summary. Do not duplicate the slip on each spouse's return.
