I only worked for 3 weeks in 2018 as a consultant and just want to charge mileage. Can I?

There is no simplified method for the T2125. The per KM rates are if you are an employer and you wish to give an allowance to your employees. On the T2125 you must use your actual expenses paid, backed with receipts.
