Can I check why I do not qualify for NETFILE specifically? I don't think I fall under any of the restrictions.

You may have personal information (name, SIN, DoB) that does not match CRA NetFile database. You may be a first time filer. You may be trying to change your direct deposit profile. All theses can derail NetFile.

If you still feel that you are eligible, please go through the My Info part of the review again and make sure all the questions are answered, and that they are answered correctly. Ex: On the Contact Info page, make sure you have answered NO to the question “Is your mailing address outside Canada?”.

Also, if you didn’t do so before, go through the Review before using NETFILE.
