You certainly can save it and return to it when you wish and even open a new return if you wish to work on another return. You log in to your account and at the top right you will see Tools. Click on Tools then click on return manager and you will see the file and you will also see an area saying to click to start a new return. You can jump back and forth to different returns from the return manager area.
