The income from your T4A box 20 (commissions) has transferred to a business schedule for self-employed earnings. You will need to complete the Identification area of the T2125 Statement of Business Activities. Access this screen under the “Income” tab > “Self Employment” > “Business Activities”. Then place a check mark for Commission Income and continue. (You do not have to upgrade Turbo Tax to proceed). You will need to indicate the type of business you are filing for. Proceed to the schedule and provide all of the required information. You will also be able to claim any relevant expenses for earning your commission income.
