TurboTax Basic 2018 can import information from TurboTax CD/Download 2017 files. It can’t get anything from TurboTax Online, though. Maybe that is what it is talking about on the box? https://turbotax.community.intuit.ca/replies/2961935

I confirmed the answer given is correct by installing TurboTax Basic -- it does include "Transfer your info from last year". The box is incorrect by claiming feature "Carries forward all info from previous return"is not included. The box does not mention TurboTax Online anywhere.
