I have filled in box 17 of my T5 with the 588.39 I received as a royalty for a creative work but it doesn't show up as investment income. Why?

Investors and rental owners

Because its not an investment 

it will show up on line 104 as other EMPLOYMENT income

You can look it up on this link from CRA
