Rent previous year

I forgot to calculate my 2016 rent expense when I filed my 2016 tax. It could have reduced the amount of tax i owed for that year. Now that we are doing the 2017 tax, what can I do about my 2016 rent expense?

You would need to amend your 2016 taxes for rent expenses. You cannot add those expenses to 2017 taxes.
