Make sure you have filled (checked) all the boxes that apply to your situation in the top part of Schedule J. Also make sure you have checked the right person in INFO to apply the credit to.

How can I get the DEPENDENT SENIOR box to be checked on Schedule J. I ticked dependent Senior on the worksheet but nothing happens?
