Because something changed.  It is possible that TurboTax was adding stimulus money but you already received your stimulus and so TurboTax deducted it from the refund amount.  You may have added additional income or many other things might have happened  Just check all of your entries.   But a round $6000 makes stimulus the most likely suspect.
