I did not work in 2018, but redeemed a small amt from my RRSP. When I enter the amts from my T4RSP in my report, my total income shows an amount extremely higher. WHY?

If you imported your tax information using the CRA AutoFill service, they would have imported any T4RSP slips and other income slips to the return. If you manually entered the slip(s), this would cause your income to increase.
